Do You Travel For Work? – Coming back on my final flight from the Jakarta last week, I sat next to a business traveler. In between Blackberrying and reading legal files, he gave me his brief attention.

He asked: “Do you travel for work?”

I said: “Not really. I travel for life.”

“That’s interesting,” he said as she returned to his files.

From time to time, I try to explain the reasoning behind my project of relentless, restless travel. But most of the time, I just keep trekking onward.

Another month, another country. It’s a big world out there. Spend your days in pursuit of joy and adventure. Help someone and create something that will endure.

How about you… what do you do for life?

Happy Green Travels!

  1. I can’t say that I have already been at the stage where you are right now. But one thing for sure, travel is the biggest and strongest drive for me in life. It’s both my passion and dream.

  2. I mostly travel for work. My job requires me to travel around Indonesia frequently. But lately, I wish I could be a full time traveler. Must be nice to enjoy some sunset or just walk leisurely on a white sand beach without thinking about work at all.
