Enjoy Apple-Picking at Matsui Farm, Komoro

Thetraveljunkie.org – Autumn is our favourite season, we love spending the evenings walking around the Matsui Farm (Komoro City), a bountiful autumn harvest with apple-picking and barbeque. Expect to find local farmers selling their produce – a real festival of colours, smells and flavours! In the cool highland breeze at the foot of Mt. Asama is one of the prefecture’s largest apple orchards.

Blessed with plentiful sunlight and treated with few or no pesticides, Matsui Farm’s 2000 apple trees cover over 20 delicious varieties from Nagano originals to gold standards. In autumn, you can enjoy apple-picking as the smell of ripe apples wafts through the air.
