Meeting Some Tanjung Puting Orangutans

seymour stein. – The Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy has sponsored me to share my experience of meeting some Tanjung Puting Orangutans at Tanjung Harapan, Central Kalimantan.

We headed up to the Tanjung Puting National Park – a home to an amazing array of wildlife including it’s world famous orangutans, big trees, lush rainforests, sparkling rivers, etc.

We stayed on a klotok with friends. The rainforest was amazing. It was a warm day, but the tall trees filtered out the sun and heat, casting a beautiful diffused light everywhere.

We arrived at 2pm. And, jumped out to the Tanjung Harapan dock.

Here are some pics I took.

everything in the silence.

Eeeek… meeting some locals!

They are not only smart, they are also very super cute with long, shiny hair, beautiful face, and big eyes.

We all had a fantastic time.
