Thetraveljunkie.org – When in Courtyard by Marriott Bali Nusa Dua, I gave myself a kind of challenge where I had to do some kind of exercise every day.
This is what I’ve been up to this week:
Ran 3km in the morning. Woke up a bit late and didn’t have enough time to finish another 5km run.
Strength and floor exercises in the evening. Lunges, squats, burpees, planks, mountain climbs – the lot!
A very quick 2km run in the morning. Slow walk in the evening.
Strength and floor exercises in the evening.
Ran 2.5km in the evening.
Strength and floor exercises in the morning.
A very quick 2km swum in the morning. So boring right?
After swum in the morning, I love eating their Bubur Ayam, omelet and salad. Singing birds are in the trees around me, the palm fronds are swaying with a subtle breeze and the sound of the wild jungle pool underscores it all.
I’ve been pretty busy this week and I’ve struggled to wake up early for a proper run and swum.
I’m not much of a party guy — I’m a bit lazy after 9pm. Fortunately, the lobby and restaurant of the Courtyard by Marriott Bali Nusa Dua is one of the most hopping spots of all Bali during staycation. It makes my dream of partying in my pajamas a potential reality.
