Thetraveljunkie.org – While we were in Sampran Riverside, we took an organic farm tour.
In traditional Thai way of life, which is Sampran Riverside’s philosophy, fruits and vegetables are often grown organically for house consumption.
Here are Sampran farm, they grow lotus, vegetables, fruits, herbs and rice. Most of the produces are used by the hotel and restaurants and some are used as ingredients in products such as tea, soap, shampoo and oil.
The hotel adhere to the following organic farming principles: no chemical fertilisers, no chemical pesticides, no chemical fungicides, and no chemical herbicides.
And here are our experience at Sampran Riverside organic farm.
I met a Tarzan of Thailand! And I looked up and was mesmerised by the green, blue, black and grey masterpiece printed in the sky.
The surrounding organic farm area was stunning!
The light, the colours, the sounds, the smells – oh it was all simply breathtaking.
It was so peaceful and beautiful! The colours of the trees were singing out with life in the soft forest light.
It was a fun and refreshing little trip. This was definitely another must do for us!
Happy Sustainable Travels!
