Warung Soto Sawah Bu Harso

Traveljunkieindonesia.com – The other day, I was invited to brunch at Warung Soto Sawah Bu Harso, a traditional javanese restaurant in Solo, Central Java.

We sat down in the ‘gedek’ wood-house with a great kroncong tune from local musicians.

And, we ordered ice tea and Soto Bening campur – javanese soup with thin slices of beef and chicken, herbs, bean sprouts, steamed rice, fried onions and a melody of fresh celery.

The Soto arrived in a few minutes time with ‘kebul-kebul’, and of course it was freaking amazing.

This is my ABSOLUTE favourite. Soto Sawah Bu Harso becomes one of the most wanted local food when travel junkies to Solo.

One bowl is never enough. Eeeek that soto was sooooo mouth-wateringly DELICIOUS.

Good food, good prices, good employees, good kroncong musicians, and good experience.

We walked away with full bellies very happy.

I had such a great time!
