Traveljunkieindonesia.com – Eeeek I am so excited to tell you all about this update. I was kidnapped by Tourism Victoria and Tourism Australia to special dinner at Bar Nacional, Melbourne.

Inspired by travel in Spain and time spent with several of Spain’s top chefs; Gavin Baker and Pete Evans bring their memories and experiences of San Sebastian to Collins Square.

I’ve read so many positive and negative reviews about this place, I thought it was a good opportunity to check it out with them.

Bar Nacional reflects of Spanish food culture: the lively atmosphere, community, quality ingredients, careful preparation, and the fast-paced variety of flavours and creative combinations achievable with tapas (small bites) and raciones (larger plates to share).

It felt like we were entering a warm and cosy space, a sleek and modern, complete with floor-to-ceiling glass windows, and an eclectic feel.

This was my first time eating Spain food in Melbourne.

The waiters extremely helpful with ordering.

Overall, the tapas and raciones had very home-cooked, fantastic, good ‘honest food’ taste to them.

I felt quite good that we ate Spain food tonight. So I really enjoyed the whole their memories and experiences.

Bar Nacional isn’t cheap or expensive, but in a world that increasingly thinks casual is good enough, it’s great to have a restaurant that aims high.

We recommended sharing for the menus experience. Try it and tell me what you think.

I’ll definitely come back during the day to try the breakfast menu, and eat some vegetarian meals.
