Thetraveljunkie.org – The best about traveling is to discover new places and today we are publishing these photos which were taken in Alila Solo when we had a special dinner at Épice restaurant, enchants local and foreign palates with a varied menu and welcoming ambience. Anyway, yes the place was pretty squishy.
I ordered the Tongseng Kambing Solo – heavily spiced dish of lamb, vegetables with garlic, chili, galangal, lemon grass lime leaf, steamed rice, condiments.
Ginger Top – Sugar cane, carrot, orange, ginger.
And my friend, Eleonore Astier-Petin ordered the Butter Chicken – Tandoori marinated chicken, Indian style butter gravy, steamed rice, paratha, ketchumber salad, chutney and raita.
Coco Lime – sugar cane juice, coconut water, kaffir lime.
After chatting with my friends, time seemed to stretch out into the late night. So we ordered a few desserty dishes.
This is the Lemongrass & Coconut Panna Cotta – lemon basil sorbet, cucumber jelly, lemongrass-pistachio biscotti. It was fantastico!
We left with happy bellies. Overall it was excellent and I would definitely come back!
