Thetraveljunkie.org – You’re probably sick of hearing about how much we love nature but it’s true. And our love and appreciation for the great outdoors continues. We believe respecting, looking after and admiring nature should be part of everyone’s daily existence. Sometimes humans don’t treat Mother Nature well and mining is one example of this. But we still like to look for the unexpected beauty and that’s one of the reasons why we decided to head to Madura Island when we did; to enjoy the Bukit Kapur Jaddih.
A former chalk mine, Bukit Kapur Jaddih is now a stunning waterhole dressed in white and turquoise. The contrast with its natural colours, is breathtaking.
The moment.
