Almere Eid Mubarak, Holland – There’s something quite magical about visiting a Javanese-Suriname home for the first time. It’s that feeling you get when you walk along the streets you’d never seen before, or when you taste the food which you’d only ever seen in photos and get to see the family. When in Almere, I visited to Mas Latin family for the first time and it was an incredible experience. I stayed at his home for Eid Mubarak. And I love to keep a record of the events on my blog, so here goes!

Tossing the Ketupat and Opor Ayam for prosperity and happiness. Life is amazing here!

Wishing a happy Eid Mubarak to all my wonderful family, friends and readers. May the next new year be filled with blessings, joy, happiness, good food and lots of love!
