Amazing Authentic Thai Cuisine at Talay Thai Restaurant, Hyatt Regency Hua Hin – Thailand

Traveljunkieindonesia.com – I love an amazing authentic Thai cuisine. They just make me happy y’know? So with fellow authentic Thai cuisine lovers, we headed to Talay Thai Restaurant, Hyatt Regency Hua HinThailand.

Talay Thai Restaurant, which serves authentic Thai cuisine and seafood, creating a serene evening while diners enjoy Thai delicacies and overlook the Gulf of Thailand.

Talay Thai Restaurant is open for dinner only and offers two styles of dining areas, one of them an air-conditioned dining room surrounded by glass walls, allowing diners to overlook tropical green areas and the hotel’s lotus pond, and the other an open-air sunken-seat dining area overlooking the Gulf of Thailand that offers guests the unique experience of traditional Thai seating style, with diners sitting on the floor.

Vegetable spring rolls (Pok pia pak) – It was absolutely marvelous to eat.

Mushroom salad with mint leaves (Larb hed) – I’m loving mushroom salad at the moment. YUM!

Prawn cake with sweet shallot sauce (Tord mun goong) – OMG it tasted freaking divine!!!

Spicy grilled beef salad with cucumber, celery and spring onion (Yum nua yang) – I love this spicy grilled beef. It was yummy and totally hit my happy spot.

Spicy and sour shrimp in lemongrass soup (Tom yum goong) – the soup was incredibly fragrant and comforting.

Stir-fried asparagus with oyster sauce (Nor mai fa-rung phad num mun hoi) – It was sooo bad, but sooo goood. Sorry, I don’t like asparagus haha!

Stir-fried tiger prawn, cashew nut and shallot in tamarind sauce (Goong phad nam ma-kham) – I love eating prawns. The aromas, oh my! ahhh it was soooo gooooood.

Coconut creme brulee (Creme brulee ma-prao) – It was very yummy indeed. The portion was just right too. Not too little, not too much.

Mmmm delicious.

Sticky rice and mango (Khao niew ma muang) – OK this one was probably my favorite in Thailand, heavenly exotic Thai classic. Better than sex. Woohoooo… happy ending!

We walked away with full bellies. I had such a great time!

It was a really amazing way to spend an evening. A big thank you Tourism Authority of Thailand, Garuda Indonesia, my readers, for following and supporting me on this journey!
