Thetraveljunkie.org – We went to Grand Mercure Jakarta Kemayoran restaurant for dinner with my Bojo. The place was clean, the decor was modern and fresh, and the staff were friendly and efficient. And here are our experience between Buntut Mercon and Pan Fried Norwegian Salmon:
I ordered Buntut Mercon – sauteed beef oxtail with super spicy chili served with sauteed water spinach, straw mushroom, melinjo crackers and white rice on the side.
It looked very impressive and it was pretty good. I really enjoyed it.
And my Bojo ordered Pan Fried Norwegian Salmon with roasted potatoes wedges and butter lemon sauce. The salmon were absolutely perfect.
My Bojo ordered a glass of red wine and I ordered Kemayoran Punch – orange juice, pineapple juice, guava juice, grenadine syrup, ginger ale.
Overall, I’d say that the dinner serves were nice, the food was delicious, tasty, fresh and homey; the staff were friendly, they didn’t rush us out after we finished eating, the atmosphere and layout in the restaurant was great for families and groups.
