Thetraveljunkie.org – When we stayed at The Kamasari in Gedangsari. We made an unplanned stop roadside on the way to Sadranan Beach in Gunungkidul when we spotted this gorgeous garden. With the rise in people looking for photo worthy spots, many flower gardens have popped up around Jogjakarta, offering little bursts of colour in the most unlikely spots. This one made me smile.
The local farmer explained how he’d thrown out the seeds, waters every afternoon and now has people stopping each day to take pictures in his fields. Sunflowers, cosmos, marigolds and other colourful blooms made us smile.
The article ‘Taman Bunga, Flower Garden, Gunungkidul‘ was published in partnership with Where Jac Wanders.
Stay tuned for more of our adventures in Gunungkidul, Yogyakarta.
