Garuda Indonesia Behind the Scenes

Thetraveljunkie.org – I made my way into the city to attended a special program #GAbehindTheScene at Garuda Indonesia Training Centre and GMF Aeroasia Hangar. Garuda Indonesia Training Centre provides a complete facility for all cabin crew and pilot to have important trainings such as: emergency landing or evacuation training, flight simulator, etc. And, GMF Aeroasia Hangar provides the maintenance facility for all flights as well as other airlines. GMF Aeroasia had just launched its 4th Hangar which claimed to be the world’s biggest maintenance facility for narrow body aircraft.

One blade of this aircraft engine costs about USD 7.000-8.000. A small egine consists of 72 blades. WOW!

It was awesome! I’m so happy to be finishing this year on a high and eagerly awaiting to see in the new year!

Hope your week is filled with love and loved ones!
