Thetraveljunkie.org – The Baiyoke Sky Hotel has an international buffet dinner on the 76th floor in the Baiyoke Sky Buffet. And has amazing and sweeping views of the city.
I was invited to try out the menus, and took the opportunity to have a date night with my Bangkok!
My friends and I were surprised at the amount of choices in the buffet, it was huge and there was so much seafood, we both thought it was very good value.
We arrived at 7.30pm and the view was AMAZING!
I can honestly say that I’ve never seen Bangkok like this before!
I know all the landmarks and all the areas… to be able to see everything in one sweeping was just incredible!
It was SO enjoyable to talk about the places, the river, the parks, the buildings, the history and recollect all the events and happenings that have taken place in the city. Then to be able to see everything cast in a city light, was just so cool! My friends and I talked so much that we were a bit slow to take our food.
The buffet is set out in sections with Thai, Italian, Roasts, Soups, Desserts etc and the seafood section was excellent with prawns, crabs, mussels, oysters that were tasty and fresh.
There were heavenly. I was very happy.
When you look the landscape, the light of the city to twinkle. My friends and I talked and talked about the landscape and view around us.
The waitstaff were lovely and friendly. They didn’t hurry us and they did not give any indication of being bored, irritated, or impatient with us.
For the price and sensational views it is well worth a visit.
In conclusion, I think everyone should try the Baiyoke Sky Restaurant at least once, for a special occasion!
The meal was enjoyable, the waitstaff were outstanding, and the atmosphere was lovely. Over all it was a great experience.
The spectacular view was definitely the best bit. The fact that it changed throughout the evening, added a whole new level of entertainment and dynamic conversations to the evening. It was just fantastic!
Next time, I would definitely time my arrival a bit earlier, to get the most of the view and the sunset.
