On October 7-19, 2012. International travel bloggers trip sponsored by the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia. Well, for Travel Junkie Indonesia our theme for October is “Come Home. Indonesia”.
Our itinerary focuses on 5 of the country’s top attractions:
1. Tanjung Puting National Park, Central Kalimantan – one of Indonesia’s highlights, and not just because of the enigmatic primates living in its maniacal forest. Are you ready Klotoklag?
2. Borobudur Temple and Yogyakarta – Borobudur is the world’s largest Buddhist temple and Yogyakarta (pronounced ‘Jogjakarta’) well, I’m a Yogyakartan.
3. Mount Bromo – Gunung Bromo (2392m) is nature’s Borobudur.
4. Komodo National Park – the real wonder of the world. And, Komodo Dragon (Varanus komodoensis) is truly the only living Dragon on earth.
5. Bali – Love. I miss naked spa here, ups!
And, Travel Junkie Indonesia will also be taking pictures and shooting video with camera Sony NEX-7.
