Kayaking in Halong Bay

riding a kayak into the beautiful bay.

Traveljunkieindonesia.com – Hi travel junkies! my friends and I absolutely love our trip to Halong Bay, and one of the water activities we got to enjoy at the sea was Kayaking.

Have you been to Halong Bay? Halong Bay, Vietnam is stunningly beautiful.

We hopped on a boat that took us out to a floating village, and from there we slipped into our kayaks and set off to explore the jagged karsts and limestone cliffs.

We spent a 2 glorious hours paddling in the bay. Everyone had a go! My friend and I went out as a pair. It was calming, sweet, romantic, and… harmonising.

Here’s what we did:

this is me, not too crazy about wearing a life jacket.

many locals still live and work on the water in the bay.

heaven for everyone.

it’s now or never.

a whole new world.

a great way to get up close.

local traditional canoe in the bay.

let’s go kayak.

our kayak parked in the central bay.

the limestone formations seems to go on forever.

The Junk Boats, floating villages, gorgeous islands, extraordinary kayaking into the centre of islands are just a few of the wonders that make this place so magnificent!

We all had soooooo much fun. Kayaking is a great way to get up close!

It was quite a workout for my abs, arms and legs. But my body felt so good. And it was so refreshing for my soul.

I really, really loved it.

It was SPECTACULAR. It was an incredible day for kayaking.
