Traveljunkieindonesia.com -Hi travel junkies! Today, I bring you to special lunch at Harry’s on the Esplanade, Phillip Island – Victoria.
Located on the first floor of the Bayside Apartment complex, it has an unsurpassed view of Cowes main beach, Westernport Bay, French Island and the Mornington Peninsula.
North facing beaches are rare in Australia, and an expansive balcony view of Cowes beach can only be experienced from Harry’s Restaurant.
Harry’s on the Esplanade offers delicious traditional European food prepared with great care.
Fresh seafood from local fishing boats, beef and lamb grazed on Phillip Island and cheeses from local cheese makers throughout Gippsland enhance the fantastic menu.
For my entree, I chose the Bass Strait Crab Cakes served with salad, lime chili and mayonnaise.
It was delicious! The flavours were a wonderful balance of fresh, tangy, sweet, salty and it was just full of punch.
I really liked this dish. It was already my winning pick of the day!
For my main I chose the Free range Duck leg served pink with orange peppercorn sauce.
OMG the duck just fell off the bone and it was amazing. I also loved the way it was styled, with all the bits and pieces placed around the plate like an artwork.
Perfectoooo!
Would I go again, for a second time? Absolutely. It was soft, intimate and cozy. I really liked it!
Overall, it was good value for money.
