Thetraveljunkie.org – When we were exploring Tanjung Puting National Park, so we visited this areas in Tanjung Puting: Pondok Tangui and Camp Leakey. We started the day traditional boating through the river that have amazing views. Then we had lunch in Camp Leakey area and we finished the day trekking in the forest.
Relaxed on board our boat and took in the sights of monkeys jumping from tree to tree. The park is home to around eight species of monkeys including the very distinctive proboscis monkey, with its distinctive long nose it is sure to grab your attention. Tried to spot wild orangutans swinging through the thick and lush vegetation. As well as this, the park is also a haven for over 220 species of birds.
Stay tuned for more of our adventures in Tanjung Puting National Park, Indonesia.
