Magical Mystery Trang An Boat Tour at Ninh Binh, Vietnam

Thetraveljunkie.org – Some weeks ago we decided to take a motorbike and just get lost around Ninh Binh, Vietnam. And, we took a magical mystery boat tour around Trang An at Ninh Binh. It’s known as the Ha Long Bay of the land, a spectacular landscape of limestone karst peaks permeated with valleys, many of them partly submerged and surrounded by steep, almost vertical cliffs.

We love visiting different spots in other countries and especially those that we haven’t been to before, it always makes us think that you should have to travel far to see wonderful things.

And, it opens our eyes to see the people, the nature, the architecture, the art and the magic that exists somewhere we have never been to before.

The boat trip lasted for almost two hours exploring the area. The large river appeared to come to an abrupt end but then we noticed a small cave. We rowed into it and it turned out it was a tunnel that we emerged from on the other side of a mountain. It was so wonderful!

What was the view like? You can judge for yourself from the photos below.

We stayed in the Tam Coc area for a few days, which we highly recommend if you have time. There are lots of other things to see and it’s a beautiful area to relax in.

Stay tuned for more of our adventures in Vietnam.
