Thetraveljunkie.org – We’ve been out every day, gardening, exercising, enjoying the winter sunshine and sunset, having so many relaxing and fantastic outings. We’ve visited parks, beaches, riversides, shops, reservoirs, farms, vineyards, and more.
The Mornington Peninsula hinterland offers a rich diversity of experiences. Surrounded by national parks, the region is home to inspired gourmet producers, vineyards, breweries, restaurants, galleries, mazes and beautiful accommodation.
It really is a sweet life. And we feel so grateful during these extraordinary times.

Another day, we spent half the day for a 7.1km walk to Sorrento war Memorial from Bridgewater Bay in Blairgowrie via Lifesaving Track and Coppins Track.
Our route started from Bridgewater Bay, Montforts Beach, Spray Point, Koonya Beach, Bay of Island, Diamond Bay, Jubilee Point, St Pauls Beach, Mount St Paul, Sorrento Ocean Beach, Sorrento Museum, and Sorrento War Memorial. All beaches down here are wonderful!
The walk was so much fun.
So If you can’t travel the world right now? So what? The Mornington Peninsula hinterland in Victoria is here for you.

Wishing health and safety to you all during these extraordinary times.

Since you’re here…
… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading the Travel Junkie than ever but advertising revenues across the blog are falling fast. And unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our blogsm as open as we can. So you can see why we need to ask for your help. The Travel Junkie’s independent, travel blogsm takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we believe our perspective matters – because it might well be your perspective, too.
If everyone who reads our blog posting, who likes it, helps to support it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as $5, you can support The Travel Junkie – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
