On The River To Camp Leakey, Tanjung Puting National Park

i think we’re lost.

Traveljunkieindonesia.com – We certainly had a memorable and relaxing few days.

This day, we bring you on the river to the Camp Leakey, Tanjung Puting National Park. It’s a river best knowns for its beautiful rainforests and overall stunning views.

OMG I had such an incredible time!

Behold!

The view of our cruise was pretty much just like in that picture below, the whole way through – breathtaking!

And, here’s what we saw on the river:

between hot chocolate and black cola.

jazz at the bookstore.

and now the day is done.

some dusty things.

ship of fools.

never give up.

Eeeeeeeeek… Oh my it looked heavenly.

reasons for our love.

hands of time.

snow angel.

This is me, absolutely loving the klotok ride!

all in good time.

the camp dock.

We arrived at 12pm (2 hours from Pondok Tanggui to Camp Leakey).

The water was very clean, but strangely dark brown in colour. The colour comes from the trees in the water… so it’s a bit like cruising in thick black cola.

I promised myself that – one day in the future – I’m looking forward to coming back already.

A big thank you to the Indonesian Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy that took us visiting Tanjung Puting National Park.
