Roadtripping Through Owakudani Valley

Thetraveljunkie.org – When in Gotemba, we went to our go-to destination is Owakudani (volcanic valley) in Hakone and there is no better time than during Autumn when the air is crisp and the leaves are colorful. Here is a little guide to my absolute favorite places in the Owakudani Valley with ropeway. The trip was a success and I enjoyed it a lot. It was still a nice experience.

You can enjoy strolling in the sky for 30 minutes from Sounzan station to Togendai station, which is on the shore of Lake Ashi, through the famous sightseeing spot Owakudani. Their glass-enclosed gondolas provide 360-degree views of the beautiful autumn foliage, Mt. Fuji, and on clear day, even Tokyo Skytree. Please enjoy the autumn scenery of nature-filled Hakone.

Here are some photos from the trip. Enjoy!

Hit the road Bow.
