Snorkelling Near Geleang Island, Karimunjawa Islands

Thetraveljunkie.org – We went to one of our favourite island, Geleang Island in Karimunjawa Islands, to chill out in the sun and underwater. We were utterly intoxicated by all the colours around us. The sky and ocean. The sparkly water. The seaweed. We love the ocean. We love the colours and shapes, forms and textures of the underwater world. We derive so much inspiration and pleasure from watching various aquatic organisms move around in water. Even watching seaweed sway in the current makes us feel so relaxed and happy.

One of my fantasies is to own a coral fish tank in our house. I would sit, with my bottle of ginger beer and watch it all day. I could happily grow old watching all the little fishies, slugs and starfish, moving and swimming around doing their thing. It’s only a fantasy.

As we geared up, We started to feel excited. This was the moment. All the sea creatures swam near the surface, and you didn’t want to bump into any of them. It was a simple and special holiday, we all had a fantastic time!

We took hundreds of photos. Silly photos. Happy photos. Hilarious experimental photos. It was such a great way to record our holiday! Photos taken with our smartphones: Samsung Galaxy S7 and S8 Edge.

Just a note, if you are thinking of coming please leave no trash behind. And take with only memories, photos and videos.
