Traveljunkieindonesia.com – Hi travel junkies! This day we bring you to Losari Beach, Makassar – South Sulawesi.

I’ve read so many positive and negative reviews about this ‘beach’, I thought it was a good opportunity to check it out with them.

Well, the installation of waste disposal equipment has polluted the sea surrounding Losari Beach.

The previously clear ocean water has turned into a horrifying black mess.

The hazardous waste contains toxic substances that can kill fish and their habitat and poison snails living on the bottom of the ocean.

As a result, the seafood in this area is dangerous for human consumption.

And, garbage from traders and visitors at Losari Beach have also contributed to the pollution. Garbage such as plastic bags, plastic bottles, and beverage cans now litter the shores.

The condition is worsened by the litter carried over by Jeneberang River and Tallo River.

Now they sitting on a time bomb. Now I know the time has come. What goes on up is coming on down, goes around and comes around.

So much trouble in Losari Beach. There is so much trouble in Losari Beach.

Aside from that all, it’s a good place to travel like a local although many locals people as well and sometimes too crowded. Many local street food along the road, good place to relaxation for the soul, see the Makassarese energy and sunset.

Thanks to AirAsiaGo Indonesia #TelusurNusantara for treating us and hosting this trip we were incredibly lucky to take, and will never, ever forget.
