Thetravelunkie.org – Today we want to share these photos from Sri Gethuk Waterfall, which we always visit whenever we are in Gunung Kidul, and it seems to transform us back in time. Walking into the waterfall allows you to open the door to a different era, the perfect way of forgetting about everything and just taking in the sound of water, birds and atmosphere.
I am absolutely loving all the greenery in Gunung Kidul! The lush, rich, deep, mossy emeralds and forest greens are making my heart beat with sheer delight. I feel so happy and healthy just looking at it all. We’ve done a few bush walks, found beautiful beaches or waterfalls in the forest, drove around mountains, crossed over from the East to the West… It’s been amazing so far!
We can’t wait to go back, it is one of our fave places in the world. Hope your week is filled with love and loved ones.
