Thetraveljunkie.org – Hello hello! I want to share my tendon lunch at Ginza Tenkuni, began as a small street stall established in 1885. I loved that there were so much space in the restaurant. There were lots of tables and lots of seating. It was roomy and comfortable. I really liked the fresh, modern feel, yet it had a warm, quirky atmosphere.
In the end – because it was only lunch – I chose the, Tendon Lunch (tendon – assortment of tempura on a bed of rice), 2 shrimp tempura, whiting tempura, squid kakiage with miso soup and pickles. My friends chose the same.
It was a really lovely lunch for me. And such a treat! Next time I’m hoping to come for dinner with my girl.
