Traveljunkieindonesia.com – Hi travel junkies and beatles mania! This day, we bring you to see how The Beatles rocked Australia at Art Centre Melbourne.
“You may say I’m a dreamer, but I’m not the only one. I hope someday you’ll join us. And the world will live as one.” – John Lennon
A euphoric madness reigned during the 13 days of The Beatles’ one-time visit to Australia in the winter of 1964.
Australians had never before witnessed the intense and fervent adulation that teenagers demonstrated en masse for the four musicians from Liverpool.
Many now regard the experience as a historical turning point in Australian music and society.
The Beatles in Australia exhibition presents the sights and sounds of Beatlesmania in June 1964 – the arrivals, the receptions, the press conferences, the TV interviews, the concerts and of course, the screaming fans.
“There’s nothing you can do that can’t be done / Nothing you can sing that can’t be sung / Nothing you can say, but you can learn how to play the game / It’s easy / All you need is love.” – The Beatles
And here’s what I saw how they rocked Australia:
“And in the end, the love you take is equal to the love you make.” – The Beatles
It was FANTASTIC! I love you, Beatlesssss!
The Beatles in Australia is at the Arts Centre Melbourne until July 1.
