Thetraveljunkie.org – Sometimes Jakarta really surprises you – and boy was I surprised and delighted on my recent stay at Favehotel Kemang. The funniest thing? I stayed at this hotel a few years ago, and exactly in the same room – yet the experience couldn’t have been different. Or better. Here is how my stay at the Favehotel Kemang in Jakarta went.
And my room is really affordable, neat, clean yet comfortable. Room facilities are complete with flat-screen TV with satellite channels, safe, air conditioning, work desk, shower, bathroom amenities, slippers, telephone and also free Wifi in all hotel area.
Breakfast was an interesting experience. Favehotel Kemang provide breakfast with a wider variety of options such as salad, toast, omelette, fresh fruits, coffee, tea, juice and of course carbs for those who want to have a heavy breakfast. The interesting thing was that, for a moment, I did not feel I was in Jakarta at all – as every other guest, no exception, I felt in Bali. It was an interesting moment, which I had not noticed at other times during my stay. Quite funny.
On the top floor of Favehotel Kemang you will find swimming pool and also thematic outdoor bar called Lobbyn Kitchen & Bar – Sky Terrace. We used the bar quite a bit – and had friends join us at different occasions. We loved the Sky Terrace. We enjoyed the bar, which was heaving every night. Very lively and the cocktails were excellent.
Would I recommend it to my best friend? He would love it.
Would I stay again? Without a doubt, the location was unbeatable and good value.
