Short Bio: A couple who is trying to balance life, work and traveling together with our kiddos.
How did you first get into travel blogging? We started reviewing restaurants in Bandung, now we are sharing not only food but also our travel stories, as a couple or as a family.
What do you love most about being a travel blogger? When my blog could change people who used to travel using a tour, being an independent traveler.
What’s the secret to creating a successful travel blog? Write with your heart. Blog readers could feel when a post is written wholeheartedly.
How do you get your blog noticed amongst the millions of other blogs out there? By giving our readers detail traveling information. When we travel with kiddos, our post is written from a parent point of view: something which other parents are looking for.
What advice would you give to fledgling travel bloggers? Join traveler community. Tesyasblog is a member of The Indonesian Travel Bloggers, where we could learn so much on blogging from other members.
How do you make money out of travel blogging? Frankly speaking,we haven’t made money from our blogs. But we are on the right track; now we know that our passion is writing about traveling, and the next step is to make money from our passion. We are learning from Traveljunkieindonesia.com.
How do you fit in blogging while on the road? With two kiddos around, how do I blog on the road? We took a lot of pictures. So we could recall the details from all the pictures which were taken.
What’s your most epic travel story? As a 10 year old girl, I dream of visiting the Eiffel Tower. I joined lucky draw from Sunsilk with a grandprize of going to Paris. I had to write why I wanted to go there badly. Of course I was not the winner, I have never won any lucky draw so far.
Ten years later somehow, I took a picture in front of the Eiffel Tower. I was EXCITED.
What is your favourite destination so far? Sydney and Tasmania – Australia
What’s been your biggest travel disaster? Missing our flight in Sydney International Airport, and had to buy a new ticket to Jakarta on 1st January 2013. Imagine how expensive it was!
What are your top gadgets that you always take travelling? Smartphones, camera and powerbank.
What’s your favourite phrase in a foreign language? Carpe diem
Would you ever do any other job? My current job allows me to travel a lot in Indonesia. However, I am looking forward for a new opportunity to work abroad (hopefully somewhere in Australia haha)
What’s next on your bucket list? New Zealand and the coming Vivid Sydney Festival! (oh yes, after we read post on here!)

What has travel taught you? Sky is the limit. Never stop dreaming. Now, we keep on dreaming to see beautiful places in Indonesia and the world. And yes, we are making our dream one by one coming true.
Best travel tip? Don’t wait until your kiddos getting bigger to travel. They may not remember all the details, but they will never forget the experience.
