Thetraveljunkie.org – Want to escape the bustle of the beach this summer? Today, we’ll bring you to Cedar Creek Swimming Holes in Samford (not the waterfall in Mount Tamborine; they have the same name). This is the best rock pool north of Brisbane. It took only 30 minutes to drive there from Brisbane CBD. This is a great place to take a dip and cool off in summer or soak up the sun on a large rock in winter. It’s a lovely spot to enjoy nature. There are no established bushwalking paths in the area, so best to stay near the creek.
There are private properties in the area though, so be mindful and respectful of the homes around you and ensure that Cedar Creek stays untouched – just the way nature intended.
