Experience Courtyard by Marriott Bali Nusa Dua

Thetraveljunkie.org – I loved the “like at home” feeling I got when I stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott Bali Nusa Dua, 5 star hotel with Private Beach Club.

20 minutes from International Airport, an attractive hotel located along the stunning coast of southern Bali close to tranquil and pristine white-sand beaches. Spend a blissful day relaxing in lagoon swimming pool, pamper myself at health club and spa, and take a long, romantic walk and enjoy a private beach club in Southern Bali.

It was a perfect for a romantic getaway, family vacation, leisure trip, group events, meetings, private beach weddings, honeymooners and travel junkies seeking to capture the splendor of Bali.

Pre-Arrival
Was there any pre-arrival communication by the hotel with myselft via email or social media? There was indeed.

Did I try to engage the hotel via social media? Did the hotel interact with me and made me feel welcome/special? I did and the hotel was responsive.

Arrival
First things first – my Courtyard by Marriott Bali Nusa Dua experience started at the airport. it was really great!

The wow factor! What was the hotel decor style? The lobby was bright and airy (very spacious) and decorated in an interesting way – think classic, modern meets Bali. It was an intersting mix and appropriate for the location.

How quick and efficient was the hotel check-in? I was greeted by a member of the reception team, who took us straight to our room, where the check-in took place. It’s quite a straightfoward process and I do like it that more  and more hotels offer this option.

Did I get an upgrade from my confirmed pre-booked room type? I was upgraded to a Deluxe Pool Terrace, number 1012.

Did I feel genuinely welcomed by the hotel staff? Absolutely.

Wifi – was I told anything about it? Was there a charge? WiFi is free for all guests and works either with a code or with your room details.

Room Experience
First impressions – decor, size and wow factor. We had a spacious room. Everything was absolutely fine. We had a great view and hot spot too!

Welcome amenity – Amazing! We had the standard welcome letter from the management team, water, and then. I loved this little touch.

The bed was great, comfortable and huge.

Closet/Wardrobe – proper hangers or those annoying ones where you need a PhD to get them out one by one? All good in this front and we had lots of hangers. On a long trip, I think it is fair to say I need a good 15 hangers.

Bathrobes and slippers, all there and lovely.

Coffee and Tea? Yes, there was a kettle and a selection of teas and coffee, which I did use.

Free bottled water. Yes and changed daily.

Power sockets in useful places – we have more and more devices and we know where we want them! By the bed, by the working area. We didn’t have a problem at all.

The bathroom was good, with great lighting (very important) and was very spacious.

Bath, shower and taps – I am looking for Duravits and Hansgrohes (or other fab brands) around the world. How fab was the shower? All state of the art, as they should be.

The rain shower was outstanding, which always nice.

Towels – yes, please! How many and how soft and lovely? They were lovely, soft and lots of them.

Toiletries – own brand, super brand, baby ones or proper ones? I shall find out! We had NIRVAE botanicals toiletries, which is a good quality products.

Amenity kit – all there.

Hairdryer – is it a human one, or just something stuck to a wall that only makes noise? It was actually quite good and easy to find as well.

General thoughts:
How good and reliable was the wi-fi? Very good.

Did the hotel interact with me via social media during my stay? It did and it was a lot of fun.

Location? Outstanding – you are in one of Bali’s most iconic destinations.

Would I recommend it to travel junkies? I would without a doubt.

Would I stay again? Yes indeed. The room was really good and comfortable, service was also spotless and we adored the lagoon pool and beach club. I loved going back every day – it really felt like home!
